ADMISSION

In this section you will find information about admissions and how to apply to Mount Olympus.

Admissions are open for classes Pre-Nursery to Grade 8 for academic session 2017-2018.  Parents are welcome to visit the school for an informal discussion. We would be happy to connect for inquiries regarding admissions.

The school prospectus with the admission form can be obtained at the school reception or online for Rs. 1000.

Admission Procedure for Pre-Nursery-KG

The child and the parents will be invited for an interaction with the Admission Counsellor, Head of Admissions, respective Coordinators followed by the Principal. The purpose of the interaction is to get to know the child better and understand his/her strengths.

Admission Procedure for Grade1-Grade 8

  • Students will have to appear for an aptitude assessment in English, Mathematics and General awareness to qualify for admission. The assessment will be from half an hour to 45 minutes. (The syllabi can be collected from the admission counsellor).
  • Personal Interaction with the respective Incharge/Coordinator.
  • Final Interaction with the Principal.

The entire admission process will be completed on the same day.

Admission will be confirmed only after assessing the performance of the child in the assessment, interaction with the incharge and at the discretion of the Principal.

Once confirmed they will receive an admission offer confirming the admission.

Admission Process

To initiate the admission process submit the following documents.

    1. Birth Certificate
    2. Immunization History
    3. Residence Proof
    4. Last Year’s Report Card.
    5. 1 Passport size photograph
    6. Ex-Pats – Passport copy.
    7. Transfer Certificate (TC). (Not applicable for Pre- Primary applicants)

(TC is to be submitted within 30 days of commencement of the academic session, failing which the student is liable for withdrawal).

Interaction
The interaction is as pleasant and non intimidating as we can make it. It is normally conducted by Head of Admissions, Headmistress and Principal. We are interested in knowing about the student’s educational development, use of language, social skills, academic enthusiasms and extra-curricular interests. The aim of the interaction is to find about what the student knows, understands and enjoys.

Once the above steps are satisfactorily completed parents may pay the applicable fees.
