Childrens Day

 

November 14 was a day full of gaiety and entertainment for the learners of Mount Olympus School as a Bal Mela was organized to commemorate the birthday of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru and also to celebrate his love for children. On this day, the Children came to school all energized as they knew it was a special day. The learners from Classes II to IX displayed exciting and innovative games under the guidance of their teachers in nicely decorated stalls. Likewise an array of lip smacking items were displayed ranging from spices of street food to finger licking desserts. The learners displayed their talent in singing and dancing and grooved to the beats. It was a scintillating event for them. Children were showered with token gifts as souvenir and refreshments which added to the cheer of the day. The young learners were enthralled by the baggi ride and had the time of their lives visiting the different stalls and playing a variety of games. The smile on the face of the learners was overwhelming and filled the school grounds with smiles, chatter and laughter.
