‘Trust the wait. Embrace the uncertainty. Enjoy the beauty of becoming.
When nothing is certain everything is possible,’ with these words full of hope and possibilities Dr. Neeti C Kaushik, Principal Mount Olympus joined the parents, students and teachers in the orientation program held on 24th April 2021, Saturday, 11:00-12:30pm for grade XI students, academic year 2021-22.
The immaculately planned session under the guidance of Vice Principal, Ms. Manisha Khanna took the audience not only through the academic streams and subject choices but through the various career options available under each stream so as to assist our students and parents to take timely and informed decisions. Good CBSE schools focus on career orientation and development of the leaders of tomorrow. Focus on career development of young minds and hearts is integral to ensure that we nurture happy, contented and prosperous individuals in the future. Timely planning and informed choices empower students to embark on the lifelong journey of career development that gets effectively kick started as early as senior school.
The session helped the parents and students understand the nuances of NEP and the efforts the school is making to offer to its students a range of subjects to choose from that opens up the door to immense possibilities to learn beyond boundaries.
Top CBSE schools are coming together to welcome NEP by broadening the choices for their students both scholastic and non-scholastics. Schools are gearing up to implement the welcoming changes in the Indian education system right from subjects, choices, academics, co-scholastics, experiential learning, skill building, assessments and evaluations etc. We are together moving towards liberal education.
As Dr. Kaushik along with the team shared the excitement of embarking the new journey in senior secondary school, she also shared their anxieties, fears, apprehensions and questions laced with the uncertainties of the current times. CBSE schools across the nation are doing their best to bring knowledge, experience and learning to its parents, teachers and students through a range of self-development programs. She not only motivated the parents, teachers and students amidst the difficult times but urged students to follow their passion, make wise choices, be hopeful and positive and never ever go far from discipline as discipline holds the key to success. Indeed a moment to mark new beginnings and to ‘keep walking’ tirelessly with a happy heart and a positive mind towards abundance and prosperity.
