Mr Rakshit Tandon

Dr Rakshit Tandon is a Cyber Security Evangelist, National Cyber Security Expert, and Crime Investigator on Cyber Forensics and Ethical Hacking for various Law Enforcement Agencies in India. He has two decades of expertise in cyber security. He is highly concerned about the cyber hygiene of children, particularly those aged 10 to 18 years old. Over the last two decades, he has made it his mission and has reached out to over 50 lakh youngsters across the country. He is regularly invited by schools & Colleges to conduct Cyber Security & Hygiene Sessions, also known as Safe Surfing. In addition, he was a key contributor to UNICEF's study on "Child Online Protection in India." Dr Tandon is a key resource person and visiting faculty member at the Bureau of Police Research And Development (BPRD), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, for Cyber Crime Investigations and training of Law Enforcement Officers across the country. He is currently appointed by the Haryana Police Department as a Consultant – CID to assist in the investigation of cybercrimes. He has been key in the establishment of cyber cells for various state police departments and works closely with them in training their personnel on the complexities of cybercrime investigations. He has played a vital role in the resolution of some of the most serious cybercrime cases for various police departments around the country. Dr. Tandon has received honorary Membership to Indian Police Foundation (IPF) and also is working as Mentor & Coordinator to Various Cyber Security Internship Programs. He is working as a faculty member at major police academies around the country, such as: CBI, NIA, Central Detective Training Institute (Jaipur, Ghaziabad , Chandigarh), STC -Delhi Police Academy, CRPF Academy - Gurugram, NSG - Gurugram and various other police academies.
